Jesus was led by the Spirit into the desert to be tempted by the devil. Satan used "If" three times, and three times Jesus responded with truth.
Because we are children of God:
- we are made in his image (Genesis 1:26-27).
- we receive his inheritance now (Romans 8:14-17; John 14:1-17).
- we can have bold confidence (Hebrews 4:16).
He chose to be our Father. You can choose to be his child.
